Feelin' Groovy

What is it, you ask? Well, this is what the New York Times calls it when two straight men have dinner face-to-face without the aid of a televeision or the crutch of sports!! Check out The Man Date .. and it's good to know that a Romantic Date always trumps a Man Date! That's true for us women as well... we're always up for dinner with girlfriends, unless there's a man calling...

Well, I must say, as a relative newbie to this whole blog thing, I am quite fascinated every time I log in here to find new tools and tips and ways to be creative with this space that I hadn't even know existed.

Take news feeds for example. While I've been aware of them for a long time, it's only been in the abstract... I figured there were some really "techie" people out there who just wanted to sit in front of their computer and read threads and threads of text-only news stories (rather than actually go outside, in the sunlight, and buy a paper and then hang out in a coffee shop, with strangers, to read it!)

As you can probably see from my Blogroll, I've added a whole slew of interesting feeds from different newspapers and web sites... Obviously this whole news feed thing has evolved since last I checked *grin*, though how anyone gets anything done [read: WORK] when there is such a vast content of information that can be set up to ping your desktop all day long is beyond me! Of course, I wasn't playing around in my blog all afternoon, no sireeee, I was working!
