Feelin' Groovy

Well, I must say, as a relative newbie to this whole blog thing, I am quite fascinated every time I log in here to find new tools and tips and ways to be creative with this space that I hadn't even know existed.

Take news feeds for example. While I've been aware of them for a long time, it's only been in the abstract... I figured there were some really "techie" people out there who just wanted to sit in front of their computer and read threads and threads of text-only news stories (rather than actually go outside, in the sunlight, and buy a paper and then hang out in a coffee shop, with strangers, to read it!)

As you can probably see from my Blogroll, I've added a whole slew of interesting feeds from different newspapers and web sites... Obviously this whole news feed thing has evolved since last I checked *grin*, though how anyone gets anything done [read: WORK] when there is such a vast content of information that can be set up to ping your desktop all day long is beyond me! Of course, I wasn't playing around in my blog all afternoon, no sireeee, I was working!

So, Spring is here and the weather in the Tdot is slowly improving *sigh*. That means Beach Volleyball, biking, running (as long as it's not raining) and other fun outdoor sporting events.

It also means that there are more idiots out on the roads driving everything from cars, bikes and mopeds to motorcycles skateboards and rollerblades! And they all seem susceptible to some sort of Spring Fever that makes them forget every rule of the road ever written!!
